Capital Harvest Market

Our weekly market, Capital Harvest on the Plaza (CHoP) features plenty of fresh foods and artisanal goods. The market's mission is to foster a sense of community, stimulate economic development and improve quality of life by providing local and sustainably sourced foods and products.

Marketgoers can shop seasonal offerings from local purveyors and food producers, dine al fresco on the plaza, enjoy chef demos and samplings and stock up on recipes and tips for maintaining a healthy and socially responsible lifestyle.

Open Wednesdays, spring through fall, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Woodrow Wilson Plaza at the corner of 13th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, the market is accessible via metro by either the Federal Triangle (blue/orange/silver lines) or Metro Center (red/blue/orange/silver lines). Parking is available onsite in the Reagan Building's underground parking garage.

On the first and third Wednesdays of each month, CHoP is collaborating with Capital Arts Collective*. Explore a curated selection of items by the area's most talented creatives, including everything from jewelry, paintings, candles, custom-designed items, home goods, and more.

BK Juices

BK Juices aims to spread love and awareness through its delicious offerings of cold-pressed juices and hand-crafted smoothies. It offers a wide variety of cold-pressed juices, homemade smoothies, and kombucha to choose from, ensuring that there is something for everyone on the menu.

Blended Desserts

Blended Desserts is a bakery that specializes in gluten-free treats. At Blended Desserts, you'll find a wide variety of gluten-free baked goods, including cakes, cookies, brownies, and more. Each item is made with care and attention to detail, using only the highest-quality ingredients to ensure that every bite is both delicious and healthy. Blum Tea

Blum Tea was created to share with the world the richness and flavorful blend variations of tea bringing delightful flavors with robust blends with every sip. Blum Tea offers rare teas with exotic flavors of the highest quality. Ingredients are sourced from local farmers and different countries from all around the world – including places like Japan, Turkey, Asia, Taiwan, Croatia, Sri Lanka, China, India, South America, South Africa, India, Nepal and Africa.

BUN'D UP

Bun'd Up is a culinary journey exploring Asian American identity through the lens of food. By infusing Korean and American flavors into the original Taiwanese "Gua Bao”, they aim to reimagine this beloved classic while paying homage to its rich cultural heritage. Since its inception in 2016 as a one-man operation at farmers markets, Bun'd Up has flourished into a thriving brand with three brick-and-mortar locations, a food truck, and can be found at markets around the DMV.

Capitol Kettle Corn

Capitol Kettle Corn is a family-owned business serving the DMV area. They are dedicated to providing their customers with high-quality products, exceptional service, and, of course, their deliciously sweet and salty kettle corn.

Deep Fried Watermelon

Deep Fried Watermelon offers a unique, vegan dessert experience in the US market. Our signature item, Deep Fried Watermelon, is crafted in the Filipino Kwek-Kwek style, blending Filipino and Soul food traditions. This best-selling treat is a standout in our innovative dessert lineup

DMV Empanadas

DMV Empanadas has been serving delicious empanadas, saltados, and chicharones to DC, Maryland, and Virginia since 2014. After launching as a pop-up at a FRESHFARM market in 2015, DMV Empanadas quickly became a favorite in the area and in 2019 opened a storefront in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Brothers, Nacho Almaraz and Marco Almaraz, source local ingredients for their products and make everything from scratch using family recipes. Their mother, a passionate cook, shared her recipes and techniques with her sons, inspiring them to go into business. To this day, her chicken empanada remains their best seller, a happy reminder to the Almaraz family after their mother’s passing.

Dough MarkeT

Dough Market specializes in developing bread-based products that feature flavors from various parts of Asia. Established in January 2021 from a small home kitchen, they have become known in the DMV for their light yet chewy malasadas-style doughnuts filled with uniquely flavored creams and custards, as well as their soft and silky milk bread buns. Putting priority on quality, every product is shaped by hand and prepared fresh every morning so that it is enjoyed as fresh as possible.

El Jefe Wood-Fired Pizza

Delight in artisanal wood-fired pizzas meticulously crafted by the team at El Jefe Wood Fired Pizza. Each pizza is freshly prepared, showcasing their unwavering commitment to excellence. From thoughtfully selected toppings to the intense heat of their traditional wood-fired oven, every pizza reflects the essence of culinary mastery. Fat Kale (previously Burt's Microgreens)

FAT KALE has firmly established itself as a cherished fixture at farmers markets across the DMV region. Renowned for its superior microgreens and health-conscious fare, this local gem has cultivated a devoted following of patrons who return time and again. At the core of FAT KALE's appeal lies its delectable and nutritious fresh kale salad paired with its signature Greenhouse dressing, a combination that has won over hearts (and taste buds) alike. Each salad boasts a bountiful array of microgreens, assorted vegetables, and a choice of seafood or chicken for protein. And let's not forget the immensely flavorful Curry Chicken pasta salad, a staple favored even by the White House. HIlana Falafel

Hilana Falafel was started by Manal Hilana in 2016. Hilana Falafel provides authentic "Jerusalem style" falafel sandwiches using fresh/local ingredients from the Washington, DC region. When Manal moved from Palestine to the United States, she found it difficult to balance working and being a mom. In an effort to do something that she loved also provided flexibility to her schedule, she began serving her falafel at the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market. After receiving amazing reviews, she expanded to the White House market and has since been featured in the Washington Post, Washingtonian Magazine and continues to be highly rated on every online rating platform.

JD's Chicken & Ribs

JD's BBQ takes pride in using recipes handed down from generation to generation, with the legacy of the grandfather being passed down to his granddaughter. Their food is good for your soul, with mouth-watering dishes like BBQ chicken, fried chicken, BBQ ribs, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, and more.

Koi Tea

"Culture in a Cup" is more than a motto at Koi Tea—it's their guiding philosophy. La Jolie Bleu

Spicy Water African Grill

Taco Dirty To Me

The FreshMobile

The FreshMobile serves a frozen limeade made with fresh blended limes, fresh mint and ginger. Customers can spice it up with additional toppings like cayenne pepper, cinnamon or pink salt. It's a Peruvian family recipe with a new generational twist!

The Sister House

Sister House, where East meets West in an exquisite fusion of flavors! Guests are invited to embark on a culinary journey like no other. Zeke's Coffee

Zeke’s Coffee is a local, Baltimore based, small-batch, family-owned coffee roastery that is seriously committed to freshness. We roast in small batches. It guarantees freshness. It keeps us honest. Our roaster holds 30 pounds of coffee, compared to the 150 pounds that a standard roaster holds. Because of this, we put more time, more labor, and a little more of ourselves into each bean. You can taste the difference.
